Agencies’ internal network teams, contractors, or traditional service providers will adopt private 5G subscriptions to run small cells where needed—for example, on a military base, an agency campus, or even a ship. These 5G networks will accelerate exponential growth of connected Internet of Things (IoT) devices, which will be increasingly integrated into defense infrastructure.
