Enabling Navy Enterprise Transformation

Leadership throughout the US Department of the Navy (DON) recognizes that maintaining tactical and strategic dominance requires transformation across the maritime domain. The Navy’s Information Superiority Vision tasks the Navy and Marine Corps with the mission to “build a more agile, innovative naval digital warfighting platform that our leaders can leverage anytime and anywhere.” To that end, it is critical to protect the data, applications, systems, and services that sailors and marines access for information that is vital to their mission. Three goals must be achieved: modernize, innovate, and defend information to enable a digital edge that no adversary can match.
