As private wireless is embraced for the use cases above and others, security must be top of mind. A Zero Trust security posture is paramount in securing private wireless traffic and enacting effective network segmentation. Without visibility into all applications, services, subscribers, and devices, an effective Zero Trust architecture and solution isn’t possible. To secure the endpoint on a network, the endpoint identifiers such as the IMSI and IMEI must be known by the next-generation firewalls securing the network traffic.
