This week, Ryerson University’s Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst announced that Palo Alto Networks Canada has joined its Catalyst Cyber Accelerator as a Corporate-in-Residence. Palo Alto Networks is honoured to be part of this program that drives cybersecurity innovation in Canada.
The Catalyst Cyber Accelerator is Canada’s first cybersecurity accelerator designed to help advance and scale cybersecurity startups, so they can innovate, commercialize and compete at a global level. As a Corporate-in-Residence, we will work alongside other companies including the Royal Bank of Canada, Microsoft and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security notes, “Cyber defence is a team sport. Government, industry, academia, and civil society must all work together to strengthen Canada’s cyber security.”
This is a big reason why Palo Alto Networks Canada has decided to join the Catalyst Cyber Accelerator. We are invested in helping grow the Canadian cybersecurity market by supporting the Canadian cybersecurity startup community and supporting founders in their entrepreneurial journey.
As a Corporate-in-Residence, we will guide and support selected cybersecurity companies through mentorships and workshops. These organizations that are carefully selected through an interview process will get to work with the Palo Alto Networks leaders and experts who will guide them in how to build, compete and scale a cybersecurity company.
